Alantra becomes the new owner of the Dénia Hotel La Sella Golf Resort & Spa

February 07 from 2018 - 11: 37

Alantra, managed by GAT Tourism Asset Management, since last February 2, has become the new owner of the Hotel Dénia La Sella Golf & Resort.

GAT, which already has assets such as Gran Hotel Durango, Hotel Guadalmina, Holiday Inn Madrid and Intercontinental Mar Menor, among others, has taken over the building and all the employees to continue providing service, proposing a reform for the next winter and the possibility of a new franchise also at the end of the year.

The Hotel Dénia La Sella Golf Resort & Spa opened in 2003, and since then it has been the only five-star hotel in the Marina Alta region. The operating results of the hotel in 2017 reflect an improvement of 26% over the previous year.

These data, together with the Hotel Report made by BNP Paribas Real Estate, augur good prospects for the sector, forecasting a new record of visits in 2018, growing in revenue per available room. On the average of Spain, Valencia, Andalucía and Canarias grew in both categories.

The La Sella group will direct the golf course

The golf course and other services of the resort are still run by the La Sella group, which sees its accounts cleared with this operation and that "He hopes to maintain good relations with the new property, which are surely a group of professionals that will take the resort and Dénia to be a reference in the tourism sector".

For the group La Sella, the year 2018 will also be full of projects, including a football field next to the hotel that will meet the latent demand of sports tour operators in winter and the interest of all social sectors in increasing visits to the region of La Marina Alta out of season.
