They open to the public gardens of the old hospital

Dénia City Council and the parish of the Assumption have recently agreed to open to the public gardens of the old hospital building located next to City Hall, on the slope of Mother Amparo.

Under the agreement, the Department of Parks and Gardens of the local consistory adecentará the area in the coming weeks and will take over the maintenance of these parish gardens, owned by the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, and will be the City Council responsible for opening and close their doors daily.

These gardens are located in a privileged place in the historic center of Denia, at the foot of Castle, in a building that was once a hospital and is currently owned by the parish.

With this agreement, Dénia retrieves a beautiful spot that will soon become an attraction for residents and visitors.
