Last night it was inaugurated in Municipal House of Culture exposure «Els Moriscs a la Marina Alta. 400 anys de l’expulsió» commemorating the fourth centenary of one of the most important events of the reign of Philip III and one of the most significant in the history of the Valencian people.
The exhibition shows who this social group and how he lived while attempting to clarify the reasons for the forced expatriation d early seventeenth century.
The show has been traveling throughout the Marina Alta since April of 2009, and ends in Dénia a journey of one year and a half during which all the inhabitants of the region have been able to visit it.
