Alicante's Official Gazette published this week lists updating the standards in the towns of the province, and the data that affects Dénia is, at least, striking: the edict signed by the mayor Ana Kringe Dénia confirms that it has lost 257 inhabitants who have caused a drop "due to expiration, with the notifications sent to the addresses" of the people appearing on the list being unsuccessful.
At the end 2011 44.726 inhabitants had Dénia, 228 neighbors more than the previous year. The data that follows the BOP leaves Dénia with a negative population growth.
