The collective of flutes of the Marina Alta announced new mobilizations to demand fairer pensions, and the next March 12 will begin with the so-called Monday to the Sun. From that day, every second and fourth Monday of the month, they will concentrate in the morning at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento to show their displeasure with the central government. In the month of March, these mobilizations will be held on 12 and 26 days.
In a statement sent to the media, they claim that «a nivel estatal nos adherimos a la convocatoria de la “Coordinadora Estatal por la Defensa de un Sistema Público de Pensiones” del próximo día 17/03 para repetir las concentraciones en todas las ciudades para hacernos oír por los españoles e ignorados por el gobierno de Mariano Rajoy constatando así el distanciamiento del gobierno con el pueblo».
The Iaioflautas of the Marina Alta also demand «la dimisión de la ministra Fátima Bañez por la mala gestión de sus asuntos en general y sobre las pensiones en particular», and announce that «apoyamos y estaremos al lado de las mujeres en la manifestación que se celebrará en Valencia el día 8 de marzo».
