Laurence Rastell was the best in the 'Spanish Snowshoe Racing Championship'

The athlete, Laurence Rastell, of the Athletics Club Baleària Diànium comes from being the best in the female category of the "VI Spanish Snowshoe Championship 2018", celebrated in the Huesca town of Gistaín.

In the spectacular setting at the foot of the Fubillons mountain range, a place unknown to many but offering exceptional conditions for snowshoeing. In the female category, Laurence Rastell, was the first to cross the finish line with a time of 1 hour and 30 minutes, but being of French nationality did not opt ​​for the title of champion. The Aragonese Esther Sanz (1: 53: 37) who won the title of Champion of Spain. The Asturian Beatriz Montes spent just over two hours, a time that has served to hang the title of runner-up in Spain.

Despite not opting for the title of champion the athlete of the Dianense club that trains with Franc Beneyto was very satisfied with this result in a specialty that is very complicated when preparing it since in this area there is no snow.
