The Humane Dénia (APAD) this year celebrates its 25 anniversary and to celebrate has organized a party at its facility on Saturday May 28 from 12 noon. There will be live music, tombola, paella and barbecue, but also a call for solidarity to help the cause.
Protective currently has in its facilities 150 dogs who need care and attention. Some of them have had to undergo surgery and has been the protector which has taken over expenses. This situation suffered theft adds a few months ago, in which thieves smashed doors, the beverage machine and alarm system, as well as take the cash that was there.
Given this emergency situation, from the shelter they ask for help from citizens to be able to get out of this pothole and continue attending to the animals that need it. But in addition to financial contributions, those who wish may collaborate in other ways with APAD.
Which is why we made a call to recruit volunteers to walk the dogs, cleaning cages or assist in organizational tasks. Also they look for any amateur photographer to take photos of animals and present them on their website.
And as always, continue to seek homes for their dogs, especially older and specifically a gray poodle who is blind and who can not be integrated into any group of other dogs.
