75 boys and girls participated in the 'III Athletics Campus' of the Baleària Dianium
During the month of July the III Athletics Campus organized by the Baleària Dianium Athletics Club took place on the athletics track of the Dénia Municipal Sports Center, with the collaboration of the Dénia Sports Department.
In the Campus, which has lasted for three weeks, a total of 75 children have participated, many of them were already part of the EMA Dénia - CA Baleària Dianium during the 2020-2021 season, but almost half of the participants were have started for the first time in athletics during these days.
The day to day of the Campus has been very entertaining for the boys and girls since they have done a great variety of activities, among them races with hurdles and learning the technique of passing the fence, learning the technique of the different throwing , very varied coordination work, high and pole vaults, long and triple jumps, tack and speed starts, endurance circuits, relay races, etc., and in this way, they have been able to learn the basic technique of all specialties of athletics and living closely the essence of this complete and varied sport.
The boys and girls of the Campus have also done many other activities and sports, such as orientation games, water games, volleyball, soccer, basketball, handball, etc. They have even received a very special visit from Pablo Trescolí, the current Decathlon Absolute Runner-up of Spain, who already visited the club last year and was very successful among the little ones, who talked and learned from one of the best Spanish athletes in the world. moment.
