3.800 nursery and primary students begin the new course in schools in Dénia

The moment feared by some and awaited by others has arrived: on Thursday 10 of September was marked on the calendar as an important day, the day of the return to school for the little ones. A return that in Dénia has been carried out with total normality, as explained by the councilor of education, Rafa Carrió.

3.800 around kindergarten and primary students have started the course in public, concentrates and private schools in the municipality, a figure that has not been a problem places.

During the summer improvements have been carried out in some of the public centers: in Llebeig, Vessanes and Pou schools air conditioning has been installed and in the rest of the centers there have been improvement works in floors, ceilings, painting renovation or the sports tracks.

Normality also in La Xara

The school of La Xara has been normally start classes after the floods last week. The barracks that form were flooded by heavy rains and during these days has been working to adapt the classroom.

The Councilor for Education explained that, as they passed from Consellería, the school expansion project was included in the Plan Trust will tender in the coming days.
