15 new residents will be trained at the Dénia Health Department

The Department of Health of Dénia -DSD- has welcomed this noon to the new MIR -Resident Internal Doctors- and EIR -Resident Internal Nurses- (midwives).

The event was chaired by the Commissioner of the Department of Health in the Marina Alta, Dr. Juan Puig, accompanied by the Director of the DSD, Dr. Pedro Clemente; the Primary Care Nursing Coordinator, Natalia Casado; the Head of Studies, Mª Carmen Estruch and the Coordinator of Training, Research and Teaching, María Dolores Pérez.

Professionals from the Dénia Health Department welcome residents

This year there are 15 new professionals who have chosen the DSD to train. Eight in Family and Community Medicine, one in Gynecology, two in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, two in Internal Medicine and two midwives.

The specialty of Internal Medicine adds in this course 2020-21 a new MIR position to the one it already had. With the new incorporations, between the different levels of training, at the moment a total of 48 are doing their specialty in the DSD between MIR and EIR.
