The Baccalaureate Assessment Tests for University Access will be held this year on first call on July 7, 8 and 9, as resolved by the Management Commission for Access and Pre-enrollment Processes in Public Universities of the Valencian University System , which has also set September 8, 9 and 10 for the second call.
The situation generated by the evolution of COVID-19 has led to the adoption of extraordinary measures regulated in Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, declaring the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation. . These are exceptional measures that are part of the action to protect the health and safety of citizens, contain the progression of the disease and strengthen the public health system.
The director general of Universities, Pilar Ezpeleta, said that the management committee "has been working for a long time and will continue to do so to ensure the proper conduct of these tests and equality among all students."
In this sense, he wanted to "send a message of tranquility to the students who are to be examined this year and also to their families to ensure that both its implementation and its content will be adjusted to the exceptional situation we are experiencing, and so that they can access higher education with all the guarantees. "
In view of this situation and following the instructions of the Ministry, the Management Commission for the Access and Pre-registration Processes in the Public Universities of the Valencian University System has set these dates for the tests and the corresponding calendar.
The PAU notes will be made public on July 17 and the deadline for requesting review will be on the 18th, 20th and 21st of the same month. The final notes will be published on July 24. The pre-registration will open on July 1 and its resolution will be published on July 28.
In the case of the second call, after taking the tests on September 8, 9 and 10, the PAU notes will be made public on September 16 and the request for review will be on days 17, 18 and 21 of same month. The final notes will be published on September 22. Pre-registration has been established from September 14 to 21.
As for the tests for people over 25 and 45, the established dates have been July 4 and 11 for the tests, and July 24 for the final grades.
