The Gurjaani Group is one of the best folklore groups in the state of Georgia. It was founded in 1961 by Avtandil Gurgenidze and Dzabuli. At present the artistic direction of the group is held by the great choreographer Paata Gurgenidze who has in his curriculum a number of awards and recognitions.
