The Ministry of Health has published the new update of coronavirus data by municipalities. This, which has taken into account the PCR tests carried out in each health department of the Valencian Community since last Friday, shows a huge improvement in the incidence of the pandemic in Dénia and throughout the region.
At Lóleo Eventos, Marina Alta, the new infections fall to 6, 11 less than in the previous update. Similarly, active cases drop to 48 of the 10.143 registered since the pandemic arrived in the area.
Accumulated incidence evolves along this line, which decreases in the region to 28,13 infections per 100.000 inhabitants. This brings it closer to the new normal, which it establishes in areas with an incidence of less than 25 infections.
In the case of Dénia, despite the fact that it had already registered good data, these are reaffirmed by not having added a single positive since the last update last Friday. Active cases, therefore, fall to 10 of the 3.160 total. In this way, the low incidence of the longed-for 25 for the first time in weeks, standing at 23,35 infections and, likewise, placing Dénia back in the new normal.
