The Culture of the City of Dénia, in addition to the offer of spreading the main monument of the city, offers visitors the possibility of an itinerary inside the enclosure of the monumental complex Dénia CastleAccompanied by an expert guide, in order to deepen the knowledge of the history of Denia and its cultural heritage.
This 2015, in line with the celebration of millennium of the Taifa of Dénia, It is programmed in one of the guided tours, a walk from the Castle, andalusí kasbah, the heart of the city, the historic center, to recall events and locate urban spaces in the city of S. XI.
Guided tours in summer visits will take place 2015 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between July 14 and 15 September with the following schedule:
19: 00 hours: Discover the Castle Dénia
20: 00 hours: Knowing Madînat Daniya, S. XI. Portal de la Vila and a stroll through the historic center.
21: 15 hours: The seven gates of the Citadel in Dénia
This service will not lead to any visitor added to the entry fee cost. The starting points of the visits will be the Torre del Consell or the Visitor Center. More information at the point of issuing tickets.
