Dianense chef Pep Romany, from the restaurant Pont Sec, has launched a pioneering project that aims to bring one of the most autochthonous recipes, the cocas, to homes throughout Dénia. Nyas Coca! It is the first home delivery website for freshly made cocas.
In the words of Romany "With Nyas Coca we seek to revalue the local flavor and tradition of our land with a new concept: introduce delivery in online orders".
At some point in the history of gastronomy, pizza won the pulse of traditional coca in the Mediterranean. What made this Italian dish more special than the Valencian coca? The answer, for Romany, is in the immediacy, to be able to have a product made in our home in just over half an hour. With this idea in mind, the chef launched himself to shape his biggest personal challenge, Nyas Coca! "The taste of our dishes is something not to be missed. Cocas were already a success in our restaurant, so we thought about going beyond, taking them out of our kitchens and taking them to the houses" Romany explains about the initiative.
Through this new website nyascoca.com customers can choose between different 19 cocas, some available according to the season and all for a price less than 6 €. In addition to the cocas, it is also possible to complete the order with salads, beverages and desserts in order to enjoy a complete menu at the door of the house.
