After many months of work, the past 30 of May premiered in Dénia the documentary Functional Diversity, Works, promoted by the Rotary Club of Dénia.
Mar and Pascual, as a representation of the group of people with functional diversity, were in charge of presenting the event, which brought together the whole society in the auditorium of the Social Center of Dénia. But they were not the only representatives of their collective: the actors of the theater group Els In-Visibles They performed a theatrical piece that left the audience with feelings on the surface.
The documentary begins by treating functional diversity in its totality, with testimonies and opinions of experts linked to the world of functional diversity.
The second part deals with the acceptance between the family and society, as well as the spaces of respite for families and the need for these resources, as well as the problem of "social disability" that currently exists.
The documentary also emphasizes the treatment and empowerment of abilities and self-esteem.
El right to employment It is also a focus of attention in this audiovisual piece, with testimonials from employers who have people with functional diversity and the needs of the group in this sector.
Finally, the documentary addresses the inclusion of the collective as a basic right for all of them.
La Functional Diversity, Works, has been made by Pau Soler and has had the collaboration of the associations ADIMA, AMADEM, AFIMA, Aprosdeco, Extend your hand, Ludai, Condenaados al Curzon, Raquel Payá School, Dénia Red Cross, Cerebrum, Cáritas Interparroquial Dénia, Betània Initiative , Salvation Army, Tdah + 16 Dénia and Valencia, and Manuel Lattur Music School.
It is the first time that all the associations of the region have joined effort, love and great enthusiasm to carry forward the project this year's star Rotary Club Denia. From the Club they affirm that the experience has been very enriching and positive for all, both for the members of the club, as for all those who are part of these associations that have turned all their interest throughout the year so that this project could see the light.
