Vicent Soler demands in Dénia the executive of Pedro Sánchez to open the debate on regional financing

18 July 2018 - 06: 34

The Minister of Finance and Economic Model, Vicent Soler, was in Dénia this Tuesday afternoon to present the work that the Government of the Botànic has been carrying out in the last three years. This visit is part of the tour that the ministers of the executive of Ximo Puig are being carried out throughout the Community to start dialogues with citizens and "To be accountable", according to they affirm, with the neighbors.

Soler reviewed the achievements of the Consell de Puig and the pending issues that are still on the table, with special emphasis on the Tren de la Costa claim and a worthy infrastructure for a community "undervalued and underfunded" by the central government.

In this sense, Soler demanded the new president of the government, the socialist Pedro Sánchez, to open the political debate, "something that the previous government was not able to do". The Minister of Finance recalled that the Valencia Region is one of the big ones affected by the current financing model, which has remained valid for four and a half years after having expired.

"The Valencians and the Valencians do not deserve this treatment", said Conseller Soler, "We deserve to receive the funds that are necessary to have quality fundamental public services, bringing our resources to the average of all the autonomous communities and not being in line".

About thirty people, many of them socialist sympathizers and members of the local government, attended this event, which was held in the castle from Denia. After the Minister's explanation, several of the attendees were encouraged to ask questions about the financing model and the possible tax pressure on companies, among others.

Vicent Soler was accompanied by the Mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, who made the introduction of the act. The councilors were also there Cristina Morera, Paco Roselló y Maria Josep Ripoll, and the socialist deputy in les Corts, Rosa Mustafá, among others.

Does it demand? Demand someone who was not present to be able to listen to him. Rather he released the speech to the group of friends who applauded him in rage with great displays of affection and complicity. Then they all went for a drink. End of the event
