The current mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, has announced this Thursday that he will stand again in the elections to head the City Council, revalidating his position. He will fight, therefore, for his third term at the top of the list of the PSPV.
This week marks the third anniversary of the current legislature, highly marked by external crises (such as the pandemic or Gloria) that local administrations have had to face with their limited resources. This third anniversary has been celebrated by the mayor of Dénia to make an announcement that could be seen coming: he will repeat as the socialist option in the next City Council elections.
«It is decided, discussed and agreed with the entire team: for the municipal elections of May 2023, yes, I will once again opt to be a candidate for Mayor of Dénia for the PSPV-PSOE!». This has been announced by Grimalt on its social networks, highlighting: «the illusion and desire that we keep very much alive is so encouraging, the work carried out and the transition between Dénia in 2015 and 2022 and so many future projects that are already we have in progress, that, yes, if you want, I will be here».
Little is known about the list with which he will present himself to the elections next year, although it is to be assumed that it has the majority of faces that have accompanied him during these three years.
