The Bloc of Denia this week held its Local Congress which has been elected by a majority the new local executive training. From now on, will head the party leadership Vicent Català, replacing Sebastià Garcia.
In addition to Vicent Català, a team of young people form the new local secretariat: Josep Martínez Gil (secretary of organization and finance), Agustí Serra Espí (Secretary of Electoral and Implementation Action), Sonia Carrio Rosello (Secretary of Municipal Services), and Vicent Blanquer Segura (secretary of Communication).
Català, who also holds the positions of spokesperson for the executive of Compromís per Dénia and that of alternate national councilor, also assumes the executive board of the Block with the will of "re-merge the collective and guarantee its influence, continuity and growth". In this regard, as said, "It is necessary to consolidate and strengthen the Bloc project within the coalition, as well as defend the priorities of the base". To achieve these objectives, the new secretary is aware that "We must increase the activity and participation of militancy, promote assembly and politics from the bottom up". Soon the working committees of each ministry will be formed to carry out this task.
