The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Denia has presented the second edition of the workshops Educando in the present, two talks given by professionals especially directed to parents, teachers and other professionals.
The workshop "Educate our sons and daughters in the values of effort, perseverance and solidarity" is given the 27 of September, at 20 hours, in the Hall of events of the House of Culture. The speaker will be Jesús Ruiz, PhD in Psychology and coach education that guides families in the education of the young. With this workshop you will learn techniques that will help to reaffirm the role as fathers and mothers, to teach the children to value what they have and to strive and work hard to get what you want. In addition, we will discuss how to deal with the changes that occur with the transition from Primary to Secondary Education.
The 4 of October, at 20 hours, in the Conference Room, will be held the workshop "Educational and preventive guidelines on internet addictions and pathological gambling", given by Antonio Castaños, general health psychologist, expert in addictions. Specialist in pathological gambling and director of Free life (Alicante Association of Affected by Ludopathy). The aim of this workshop is to provide attendees with guidelines to prevent abuse of new technologies and to give special attention to the game online, fields in which the younger ones are immersed and it is necessary that they learn to have a self-control not to derive in an addiction.
