Join Esmorzar & Cata: the Valencian ritual at Celler Les Freses

On Wine Tourism Day, next November 7, the Celler Les Freses wants to pay homage to our wine culture, joining other Km 0 products. Hand in hand with Farinera Marina Alta (Jesús Pobre), Carnicería Ca ​​Curro (Gata) and Oli Tossut (Pedreguer), have created a tasting of the four producers in a traditional ESMORZAR & TASTING in the cellar at 10.30 in the morning.

Our region has been a land of farmers and from their inheritance we have received the sitting down to recharge batteries between nine and eleven in the morning for a breakfast or esmorza, or as the modern call it brunch Mediterranean. And having breakfast at “la valenciana” can never be an austere and brief thing, if not it is a ritual, as tremendous as the failures or a mascletà. However, it is not a superficial meal, quite the contrary, the breakfast it has been the custodian of ancestral foods such as lupins, brines, salted meats, sausages, figatells ... preserving traditional recipes. In fact, the cathedrals of the breakfast they have always been the bars of the markets, where the product is the main protagonist.

In the end, like any self-respecting breakfast, it requires a coffee, but not just any one, one a la Valenciana, "ben carregaet": the cream, star of our table tops and with three colors, gold, black and cream.
