UNED Dénia renews the certification of Quality in Management and certifies the Charter of Services of the Quality Chair of the UNED "Ciudad de Tudela"

The Center Associated to the UNED of Dénia has renewed the certification of the Internal Quality Assurance System in the Management of Associated Centers (implementation level) achieved in 2017 and has certified its Charter of Services; both certifications are awarded by the Quality Chair of the UNED "Ciudad de Tudela" as an entity accredited by ANECA to carry them out.

The Internal Quality Assurance System in Management is a model developed by the Quality Chair of the UNED "Ciudad de Tudela" in collaboration with the Quality Committee of Associated Centers of the UNED and its execution constitutes a voluntary option for the centers who have chosen to develop excellence in their management.

This initiative is part of the UNED Quality Plan, being the Internal Quality Assurance System in Management approved by its Governing Council.

Regarding the levels of certification issued by the Quality Chair of the UNED "Ciudad de Tudela", there can be three (from less to more): level of Service Charter; level 1 (Implementation) and level 2 (Consolidation) with a validity of four years (for Associated Centers certified as of February 1, 2018), subject to a maintenance review in the middle of this period.

During the certification review:

• It has been verified that the UNED Dénia Center stands out in carrying out activities related to the management of equality, the library service and the participation of stakeholders.

• This has allowed it to achieve the renewal of the Internal Quality Assurance System in the Management of Associated Centers (Level I) and to certify the Center's Service Charter.

In this process, an Evaluation Commission composed of certified auditors, belonging to Associated Centers of the UNED of Campus different from Dénia, has participated; an independent Certification Committee, made up of management technicians from the Headquarters and technicians from the Chair itself.

After the audits carried out by the Evaluation Commission, it has been observed that the Associated Center of the UNED in Dénia and its classrooms of Xàbia and Benidorm, meet all the requirements required by the internal quality assurance system in Management (SGICG-CA, level 1) for the renewal of their certification.

In the certification process, it was found that the Dénia Center stood out especially in carrying out activities related to equality management, the library service and the participation of interest groups.

In relation to equality, it manages an Equality Observatory aimed at raising awareness in society through co-education, respect for diversity and tolerance.

Regarding the library service, in addition to the usual loan, activities related to the functional needs of users are carried out, such as initial reception, training, brochures and informative guides, as well as cultural revitalization with exhibitions and conferences.

Finally, in relation to stakeholder participation, at CA UNED Dénia surveys are designed, applied and managed with specific items that are considered of interest to the Associated Center. They focus especially on students, faculty and PAS.

The CA UNED Dénia continues to offer its activities to students and interest groups. This month he will hold the workshop "MAKERS AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES" that will take place on February 23, 24 and 25 in direct or deferred online mode and the course "THE IMPACT OF COVID ON MENTAL HEALTH: ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION TRANSFERS" on the 10th and March 11.
