UNED Dénia budget increases to almost one million euros to 2014

National University of Distance Education (UNED) held on Monday the consortium meeting on the premises of UNED Dénia in which it was announced that this year's budget increases to 973.921,70 euros after incorporation in the consortium of municipalities of Villajoyosa and Alfas del Pi. In this budget we must add the 69.0021,99 euros Classroom Xàbia 203.590 euros and the Hall of Benidorm.

At the meeting of the consortium it was also agreed to create a social fund 6.000 euros to help students who wish to access formal training and can not fund tuition or the purchase of books.

The director of the UNED in Dénia, Raquel MartíHe said that during the year have kept tuition fees, which increased "only 1,7% with respect to the previous year".

This meeting also served to agree on a socio-economic empowerment and equality observatory consisting of a multidisciplinary team that allows to know the economic and social problems of our environment in collaboration with public or private institutions. Create a permanent forum for debate on equality, economy and society, and its connotations with the risk of social and labor exclusion.
