This week has ended a 16º edition of the School of parents on prevention of addictions who promptly organized by the Department of Social Welfare of the City of Denia.
On this occasion 23 has been the people who have attended, who have evaluated with an 9,60 on 10 the operation of the course.
In the final evaluation have recognized have expanded their knowledge of drug dependence, showing a greater interest in dialogue and communicate with their children and claim to have more tools to address the issue with them.
In terms of material and organization, they have also been highly valued, as well as the professionalism of the speakers, including professionals from the Community Prevention Unit in Addictive Behaviors of the Dénia Town Hall and the Department's Addictive Behavior Unit. of Health of Dénia and psychopedagogues.
School, developed during the months of January and February, has worked aspects such as information and basic training on drug dependency; reasons and risks of consumption; family education and transmission of norms and limits; social communication skills of parents to their children or how to differentiate experimental consumption of those abusive and how to redirect these situations.
