A Joint Venture Company takes over Red Cross in monitoring Dénia beaches

May 19 from 2016 - 10: 29

Salvamar UTE (Unión Temporal de Empresas) has been the winning company that will be in charge of the surveillance service of beaches in Dénia for the next two years. This UTE, made up of Eulen and Aunar Group 2009 SL, prevailed with 82 points over the other three offers that were submitted to the City Council's public tender. His proposal lowers the initial amount of the tender by more than 100.000 euros, leaving it at 1,3 million euros.

Casiana Marineta beach in Denia

The proposal of Salvamar UTE includes the start of surveillance on all beaches since the 1 in June, increasing the number of troops in the months of July and August, from 10 to 20 hours. In addition, from the end of the season, the 15 of September, until the 15 of October, as well as in Holy Week, surveillance service will be offered on weekends.

The company will launch a website from which they will report daily on the state of the sea and the flags that fly on each beach in the municipality, as well as a telephone number to meet the needs of people with reduced mobility. Salvamar UTE also proposes a drone, surveillance cameras on the Raset beach and a non-polluting vehicle to carry out the surveillance service.

With this concession, approved by the Local Government Board, for the first time in years the Red Cross will not be in charge of the surveillance of Dénia's beaches.

Now that we are in the high season, the reality is that we have less vigilance than in previous years, I am referring to the area of the Marines at the height of the Rte. Fernando and nearby.
In addition the lifeguards do not have the means; last saturday who was in the chair that is before Blayet beach, was without umbrella and cap and quite reddened by the action of the sun, I think that this man should be provided with adequate means and also demand their use .
On the other hand, I observe that the buoys of delimitation of the zone of bathers have not been installed in front of the boats and aquatic motorcycles, I do not know if this obligation is of the UTE or directly of the City council.

Today I saw this ute for the Marineta. There is no color.
The Red Cross gives more security.
This mayor lowers the image of Denia.
    What a pity.

  3. Carlos that of ..... says:

We'll see how big the crap will be. This town council and pro-Catalanist speak to him about drones and his ass is made of lemon water.
Whose friend is this UNIT of lifeguards. Who is going to cover with this contract paleto.
What problem did they have with the Red Cross? Was it possible to suck?
