About thirty young people finish the training course for moped drivers

Mayor, Vicent Grimalt, and the Councilor for Citizen Protection, Javier Scotto, attended yesterday the closing and delivery of diplomas of the XIX edition of the Training Course for moped drivers organized by the Department of Road Education of the Local Police of Dénia and coordinated by agent Manuel Moreno Mas and officer Juan José Bordes Vidal.

A total of 15 young people between 35 and 14 years old have participated in this edition of the course, taught from July 16 to today, who have received theoretical training in the classrooms of the House of Culture, combined with practical classes offered by the Marquesado driving schools , Guillem, Montgó, Juanvi, Más Fácil, V de Victoria and Poveda, collaborators of the course.

The local assembly of the Red Cross of Dénia has also collaborated; Salvador Climent Olmedo, from the association of spinal cord injuries ASPAYM, Juan José Sala Soler, technician of the Community Prevention Unit in Addictive Behaviors of Dénia (UPCCA), the Etrasa publishing house and the DGT, the NZI helmet factory, of Yecla (Murcia ), which has donated the full face helmet that has been raffled today among the students of the course, and the Motos Quirro workshop, which in addition to material, has delivered a full face helmet for the students and recognitions for the speakers.

Yesterday's act served to dismiss agent Manuel Moreno, promoter of this course and person who has led the Department of Traffic Education since its inception, before his imminent retirement. Moreno received the thanks and recognition of all the attendees and passed the witness of the department to officer Juan José Bordes.
