On Tuesday, October 10, at around 18:00 p.m., a boat with ten immigrants on board disembarked at the Cova Tallada, between the terms of Dénia and Xàbia. Once they landed, the crew abandoned the boat and fled overland, some in the direction of La Plana de Xàbia and others in the direction of Les Rotes.
It was some hikers who were in the area who warned 112 of what happened, and both the Civil Guard and the Local Police tracked the area in search of the immigrants. Around 21: 00 hours located in the area of the port of Xàbia two men of Maghreb origin with wet and undocumented clothes. Both men, 30 and 31 years, were attended by Red Cross in the barracks.
At the moment the search of the rest of the crew follows in as much in Denia as in Xàbia, whereas the patera in which they traveled was found by a team of Salvamar Levante in the vicinity of the cave, after receiving a notice of the 112.
