Kilometer retentions in road accesses to the Marina Alta, terraces and walks full of tourists, people in the mountains, people on the beach... The truth is that Easter 2021 has been very similar to the same holiday period in the years before the pandemic. For better or for worse, the environment that has been seen has nothing to do with that of a health crisis situation.
During the Easter bridge this year life has returned to Dénia. The main shopping streets have been filled with residents and visitors, who have not wanted to miss out on the fantastic weather that has accompanied almost every day. Even brave bathers have been seen.
In nature, the situation was very similar, with a large presence of groups in the Montgo, Cova Tallada and other typical destinations where to eat the monkey. It only remains to hope that, despite the overcrowding of every corner of the town, social distancing has been respected and thus we do not have to face an increase in the incidence of coronavirus in a few days when we are so close to the summer season.
"Overcrowding of every corner of the town"?
And is that cause for jubilation ????
What good is it that some of us respect the rules established by the health crisis and many others skip them just because they ignore it? You only need to see the published photos to see that they were not being complied with but…. it seems that many are glad of the…. overcrowding of every corner of the town !!!
We will see the result!
An Easter like before? Like before what? Like that of our grandparents and parents? Or as in which mass leisure consumption has degenerated? That it is a situation after the one our parents lived through, we don't even talk about our grandparents.
