La Association Against Torture and mistreatment of animals (Actyma) has announced that at the beginning of this new year aims to denounce the celebration of the Bous a la Mar in Valencia, with particular emphasis on shows Benicarló and Denia.
Its president, Lluís Altés, explained that this decision has been taken after knowing that in Catalonia the case file Les Cases d'Alcanar and L'Ampolla (Tarragona), populations with similar celebrations, has been opened.
According says Altés told EFE, "Although the Valencian law contemplates the celebration of bous a la mar, we are going to try to make this modality in which bulls die completely removed from the tradition"In addition to cross off the festivities to sea as bous "fraudulent".
While aware that the Valencian Generalitat will pull back their complaints, Altés says Iran to abolish administrative litigation to achieve this tradition.
Holding the Bous a la Mar in Dénia, declared of National Tourist Interest in 1993, 20 dates from the last century and meets every week of festivities to thousands of people in the square to be built in the port for this purpose.
