The artist from Córdoba, María Ortega, has taken advantage of a weekend, with part of her nights, to transform the Medical Day Hospital. Here a large part of the patients come to receive chemotherapy sessions.
María Ortega has also made room in one of the pediatric consultations and the box of pediatric stops, both stays in the Emergency Department. With this transformation it is sought to humanize these services of the Medical Day Hospital thanks to art.
María Ortega is a plastic artist, art educator and art therapist. His work is closely linked to the social field, with the street art he has developed since 2008, although he is not limited to a specific support or place, both public and private spaces intervene.
