24 June 2016 - 11: 22

In the absence of a train, good are greenways. The capitals of the Marina Alta and La Safor are missing a train that unites them, but while that arrives, we must take advantage of it to value other routes between the two cities.

The Department of Environment and Climate Change of the Dénia City Council has recently placed an information panel at the entrance of the greenway to value the 36-kilometre route that connects Dénia and Gandía through the Vía Verde de Dénia, the Marjal natural park and the Vía Verde de Gandía.

Panel Greenways Cycle Route

The route crosses the agricultural landscape of orange and the Marjal Nature Reserve, through the most significant protected corners of this space such as the Bullent river, the Muntanyeta Verda and font Salada. Link these greenways is taking advantage of the bike path Verger to Pego and dirt roads Marjal natural park. Friendly tour in plane and is made mainly by non-motorized road.
