A book about Dénia raise funds for the chapel of Pare Pere

The 21 Agenda Dénia, hand A21 team is working hard on a new project related to the history of Dénia: a participative guide emblematic of Dénia with the collaboration of Enrique Oltra.

A few months ago, the Franciscan Father Enrique Oltra, who for years custody Pare Pere Hermitage, Donated to the city a collection of more than 20 books written by him throughout his life. Following that donation it came the idea of ​​collaborating with him and illustrate a guide on places of the city highlighted by the Franciscan.

It is a guide that will show 36 places described by Father Oltra and illustrated with old and current photos of different places. To get the images, the 21 Agenda has had the collaboration of the Municipal Arxiu, and individuals like the Marsal photographer. To get the current images, the 21 Agenda calls on interested citizens to send their photographs to the 18 in July to the mail agenda21denia@gmail.com. An advisory team will select the best images, which will be part of the book next to the name of its author.

3.000 a first printing of copies at a price of EUR 3 be released, and the profits will go to cover the costs of editing and installing new signage to the chapel, as well as buying a shrine and a foot tabernacle.

Particiativa is expected to guide goes on sale the first week of September and have the cooperation of local bookstores, social and festive entities and associations in the city for distribution.
