A multidisciplinary show will bring the medieval poetry of Ausiàs March to the general public

The love that the poet Ausiàs March drew on in his lyrics in the 18th century will come to life again in the XNUMXst century thanks to a multidisciplinary project that will premiere in Dénia on October XNUMX and in which different personalities from the world have participated. cultural world of Marina Alta.

Cants d'Amor i de Mort He makes a selection of his poems, which are accompanied by illustrations by Joan Castejón and the music of Miquel Pérez Perelló, with the aim of bringing the figure and work of this poet to the public.

Eltakataka he has collaborated in the initiative providing animation of Castejón's drawings in an audiovisual that will be screened during the show, "creating a kind of visual poetry, sweet and without realism" that helps to bring March's lyrics to the public, according to the representative of the production company, Romu Soler.
 
The president of the Dénia Foundation, Antonio, also participated in the presentation of the show. Sentí, who recalled that the project is one of the winners in this year's 100x100 Fundació awards, within the Cultural section, and Pedro Caridad, representative of the Salom Sabar Foundation, who has also chosen this work in the first call for grants " Impulsa Cultura "2018 with which the entity wants to promote artistic creation in all disciplines.

The result, for the rapporteur Tomás Llopis, "It is a show that will immerse us in a 15th century environment with a very current discourse regarding love".

Cants d'amor i de mort will premiere on Thursday, 18 of October, in the auditorium of the Social Center of Dénia. Admission is free, limited to the capacity of the premises.
