During this morning, at approximately 01:17, the Dénia authorities had to attend an accident that occurred at the main roundabout at the entrance to the municipality, on the CV-725. After performing the breathalyzer test on the driver, the result was positive.
Due to the impact, the vehicle, completely destroyed, caused extensive damage to both the roundabout wall and the fountain and signage in the area. The authorities have classified the event as a crime against road safety, for driving the car under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
