The entrance to Dénia is once again inaccessible due to a spectacular accident. The CV-725 has once again been the scene of an accident involving several vehicles that has completely blocked the main access road to the capital of the Marina Alta.
An improper overtaking at high speed has caused an accident in which several vehicles have been involved in both directions of that road with only two lanes, as this newspaper has learned. It happened this afternoon between the Hospital de Dénia and the old tollbooth.
According to the authorities, no one was injured despite a large deployment of police and ambulances, which are currently still in place. It is expected that in the next few hours the traffic will return to normal, but at this time it is better to avoid the road since the queues are kilometers long.
