Turismo Dénia was present with its own stand at the Fira de Tots Sants in Cocentaina, held from 31 from October to 2 in November. There he had the opportunity to bring the wide tourist offer of Dénia to the contestants and neighbors of El Comtat and other neighboring regions.
The fair enjoys great popularity and is visited every year by more than half a million people. It is divided into several sections, among which is "Tourism", within which various municipalities and organizations of the Costa Blanca have participated, such as Dénia, the Provincial Tourist Board of the Costa Blanca, Biar or Xàbia.
Turismo Dénia has been attending this event for several years as it is a unique opportunity to promote Dénia in a nearby market, with great potential for weekend getaways and holidays, which is highly interested in the Dianense tourist offer.
The success obtained in past editions has motivated Dénia to attend this event carrying much more promotional material of the destination than in previous years, material that was completely exhausted at the end of the fair.
Regarding the type of requests made by visitors to Dénia stand, highlights the high interest in activities in contact with nature such as hiking and diving, as well as those related to gastronomy.
Mayor and Councilor for Tourism, Ana Kringe, has valued positively the result of this promotional action, highlighting that "the Valencian Community is one of our main national emitting markets together with the Community of Madrid" In fact, it is configured as the first issuing market during the middle and low seasons, a fundamental factor when it comes to deseasonalizing the destination through weekend getaways and holidays. Finally Kringe added that the objective of Turismo Dénia "It is not only to maintain our market share in the Comunitat, but to extend it".
