Three athletes Raquel Payá and Adapted Sports School triumph in the Provincial

The students of the Regional School Raquel Payá and the Municipal School of adapted sport of Dénia that manages the Association sentenced to Curbstone, participated in the Provincial Championship of adapted sport that was held in the Palau d'Esports Illa de Benidorm facilities.

The adapted sport competition focused on four disciplines: Minibasquet, Boccia (in their categories BC1, BC2 and BC3, bowling and swimming (25 and 50ml), all mixed with the exception of swimming in which there are male and female categories.

33 athletes with brilliant results participated in this event; 12 students of the Raquel Paya School, 13 students belonging to the school Raquel Paya who in turn participate in the adapted sport program of the municipal school and 8 athletes of the municipal sports school.

The expedition of athletes participated with joy and great enthusiasm, getting three medals. Lucía Mendes was a gold medalist in Bolos.

Jorge Femenía brought a silver medal to join the three that he added in previous editions in Boccia C1. Femenía participates in the School of Adapted Sports since its creation and that given has given her a lot of experience. He is an athlete who faces the competition with extreme peace of mind and this is reflected in the achievement of great results.

This athlete was gold in 2013, bronze in 2014, silver in 2015 and now adds to his palmares a new silver medal.

Daniel Vicens hung around his neck a bronze medal in Boccia C1 demonstrating the enormous talent and competitive level he has.
