Thursday September 15, parents of Pou, Montgó and La Xara schools were called to the polls to vote on the proposal of each center on the continuous day for their students. The Montgó school 572 recorded votes in favor, against and 27 6 null. In the Pou de la Muntanya there was 436 votes for, against and 70 26 zero, while in the CEIP La Xara 161 25 votes for and against were recorded.
For the proposal to go ahead a minimum participation of 70% of parents and support a minimum of 55% of voters it was needed. The next step is ratification by the Ministry of Education next week to authorize this schedule for the next three courses. At that time he will hold a vote on the continuation of this new schedule.
The journey continues obliges schools to offer room service to school and free school classes until 17 hours.
