La Foundation for Environmental Education, that recognizes the quality of beaches, has granted this year to Dénia the 3 blue flags which it already had: the city has renewed the flags of Bovetes, Marineta Cassiana y Yacht Club.
This year, in total, Spain received 603 blue flags (511 92 on beaches and in marinas), two less than in 2010. Valencia has a total of 107 kilometers of blue flag beach.
