At this stage of the test the participants have to measure their strength very well to face Bovine y Tseppes, and pass in front of L'Aguille Verte, the vertical of the Drus and the majestic Mont-Blanc, to reach the goal in the center of the town of Chamonix.

The test showed the perfect preparation with which the Dianense athlete faced one of the toughest mountain races. In this edition the participants had rain and cold as night companions. It was hard in terms of weather conditions. Bad weather and low temperatures altered the route. The race did not go through the Col des Pyramides Calcaires, but from Seigne descended to Lac Combal

The winner of the test in this edition was the Frenchman, Xavier Thevenard, who in this way scored his third win in this spectacular mountain event.
