Mayor, Vicent Grimalt, has held a meeting today with Carlos Nieto Millán, recently appointed new chief inspector of the Dénia National Police station.
Nieto Millán has presented himself to the mayor accompanied by Ignacio del Olmo Fernández, chief commissioner, provincial chief of the Alicante National Police Force.
At the meeting, the police officers were interested in the status of the project for the new National Police station. The mayor has informed them that the process for the transfer of land by the city council to the Ministry of the Interior is being concluded, about 1.800 square meters of a municipally owned plot on Miguel Hernández avenue.
