The pre-emergency activated by the State Meteorological Agency in Dénia and the Marina Alta Due to rain and probability of snowfall, it is still active on the morning of this Friday, February 2. Since it began to rain yesterday afternoon, 23 liters per square meter have been collected in Dénia, according to information from the Valencian Meteorological Agency (Avamet). This same portal shows that the gusts of wind have exceeded 42 km/h.

The rain is being incessant but moderate, which, for the time being, has not caused flooding of streets. Of course, traffic retentions have been inevitable in the early morning, as usual when it rains this way.

Despite the warnings of the State Meteorological Agency the snow has not made an appearance even if on top of the Montgó, which this Friday morning has dawned covered by clouds. The temperature oscillates between the 5 and the 6 degrees centigrade and this will be maintained during the day.

According to the AEMET forecast, the rain will cease throughout the morning, and during the afternoon there is no rain expected in the area. At 12: 00 the yellow alert will be eliminated and the skies are expected to clear during the day to give way, tomorrow Saturday, to clear skies and temperatures very similar to today.

Already for Sunday will return the clouds and precipitation, especially facing the afternoon, with rains that will accompany us throughout the next week.
