The technicians of the City of Dénia and the Generalitat Valenciana are working together to standardize the current municipal action plan for flood risk that is in force from the 2014.
The municipal plan, which currently is operating, provides for a risk analysis in the municipal and organizational structure and procedure for action in case of emergency. It contains a database of people (CECOPAL) and resources available in case of emergency are updated, also this database is updated regularly.
At present the municipal technicians work closely with the Department to give final shape to the document in order to be officially approved. However, the plan before being sent to the Department in its final form, will be approved by the plenary, which will request approval to Generalitat.
The mayor of citizen security, Javier ScottoIt stresses that the municipal plan is in force since 2014 and for this reason and due to start next autumn has convened an interdepartmental briefing on actions and preventing cold drop, flooding, high winds and other emergencies.
