On Tuesday night a fire broke out in one of the Carrefour hypermarket stores, in the Shopping Center Portal de la Marina. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the Fire Department of the Marina Alta and to the effective security, prevention and fire-fighting measures at the shopping center itself, it could have been extinguished without causing significant damage.
So much so that this morning the doors of the Shopping Center and Carrefour have opened normally, complying with the security measures and capacity limitation typical of the pandemic situation caused by COVID-19.
Last night's event highlights the importance and effectiveness of the security measures and the rapid action protocols of the Portal de la Marina Shopping Center, focused for years on offering the safest shopping and leisure experience possible, in every way .
