Socialist councilors Cristina Morera y Jordi Serra This morning they lamented the paralysis in the construction of the socio-sanitary area of La Pedrera, since this adaptation project "has been on the table for two years with absolutely nothing known."
Jordi Serra, recalled that the social and health area of La Pedrera was already an electoral promise that the mayor and the PP during the 2011 municipal electoral campaign and has announced that he will ask again about the paralysis of this project in les Corts Valencianes. In addition, he indicated that he hopes to know "which Ministry will take charge of this remodeling valued at 400.000 - 500.000 euros and whether or not there will be a final contribution by the municipality in said works."
On the other hand, after knowing that in the month of June the Ministry of Social Welfare owed more than 180.000 euros of the subsidy of the residence and the center of Holy Day llúcia, the councilor in charge of social welfare issues, Cristina Morera, has denounced that it is of no use "to announce with great hype that the Department of Social Welfare will guarantee municipal social services or the operation of the residence and the day center, when they really delay payment of subsidies and fail to fulfill their promises."

On the proposal for referendum on oil exploration on the east coast, Councilman Jordi Serra has said that today there are already several anti unanimous positions of the municipality of Dénia these actions: January 2011 to urge the government of Spain to repeal authorization allowing oil conducting studies in the Gulf of Valencia and in February 2014 introducing municipal allegations contrary to this project.
Serra has pointed out that the competent bodies in this matter "are the ones that have the competence to paralyze an infrastructure that lacks social support." For this reason, he has asked that all parliamentary groups in Congress approve the initiative presented by Ximo Puig to modify the hydrocarbons law and prevent prospecting in the Mediterranean.
