01 October 2020 - 12: 56

Tomorrow, October 2, 2020, the festivity of the patron of the National Police will take place, a celebration that this year is marred by the presence of the COVID-19 crisis, so the Ministry of the Interior has canceled the planned events throughout Spain to celebrate the day.

In order to avoid crowds, these acts are suspended, which every year usually bring together members of the State security forces and bodies, authorities of all kinds, as well as family and friends.

From the Dénia Police Station, despite the lack of the formal act, they have not wanted to miss the opportunity to carry out the appropriate recognitions both their agents decorated with entry into the Order of Police Merit, the sub-inspector Vanesa Lencero Ortiz and the police . Javier Sánchez Galindo, as well as those companies, individuals and institutions that were by his side during the most difficult moments of the health crisis.

On October 1, some of these recognitions have already been delivered, highlighting among them the participation for their collaboration and attention to the members of the National Police Corps in Dénia to Marina El Portet, Dénia Civil Protection, Benidoleig Civil Protection, Group Cidoncha, Amunt contra el Cáncer, Rolser, Laboratorios Natural Solter and the Association of Tourism Promoters of Dénia, among many others.

For this reason, during the dates that surround their employer, they will individually thank those who remembered them in the first moments of the pandemic where everything was fear and bewilderment, because in the words of the boss
from the Dénia Police Station, the chief inspector, Alejandro Sánchez Moreno: "We must find the time and the way to thank people for what they have done for us in difficult times" why "to thank is one of the most beautiful forms of recognition ”.
