Last Monday the first meeting of the working group of the Action Plan for Health (PAS) was held in Dénia. This is a series of work meetings between people representing the different strategic lines of the Local Action Plan (PAL) and the Dianense society with the aim of updating the PAL actions currently in force and adapting to the new socioeconomic reality.
The first meeting was attended by Inés Roig, pharmacist and vice president of the Red Cross Assembly in Dénia; Mª Ángeles Martín, dietitian-nutritionist; Laura Llorca, LUDAI association; Rocío de la Vara, communication director of Marina Salud; Pascual Martí, Director of Public Health of Dénia; Ángel Giménez, managing director of Marina Salud; Rafael Sala, assistant director of the Department of Health; Gabriel Martínez, managing director of Marina de Denia; Pablo Segarra, president of the Local Board of the AECC; Juan Cabrera, president of the Diabetic Association; José Sala, lawyer and president of the Governing Board of the Natural Park Montgó; Pablo Pastor, director of the Santa Llúcia Nursing Home and Francisco Vives, lawyer and president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta.
This first meeting concluded with the need to increase the informative-educational and prevention campaigns in matters of health and quality of life.
