In the last few hours, 305 new positive cases have been detected in the Community, a slight rebound compared to these days and compared to the number of discharges given, 209. With the new infections, the total number of positives rises to 12.514 since the beginning of the pandemic, of them, 135 are in the province of Alicante.
From the Ministry of Health, the decrease in admissions due to coronavirus in the ICU stands out, which has been reduced by half and hospital patients are down 42% in two weeks in the Valencian Community. Specifically, the number of those admitted to the ICU has gone from 238 on April 18 to the current 120. In the case of hospital admissions, the reduction has been 42%, since there were 1.095 people that day and 638 are currently registered.
On the other hand, there have been a total of 7.287 discharges (209 since the update this Friday). Currently, 3.961 cases are active, that is, one out of every 3 diagnosed cases. To date, there have been a total of 1.266 deaths in the Valencian Community, 13 new since yesterday.
The number of Health professionals who have already been discharged are 1.474 people. The total number of positives is 2.226, of which 752 remain active at this time.
