The Dénia City Council reports that last night the results of the second coronavirus detection test carried out on the only resident who had tested positive in the initial PCR, after raising the alarm for two cases among the workers of the Santa Llúcia residence. It has been confirmed that it was a false positive: the viral load detected was very weak and the person did not present any symptoms, so it was decided to repeat the test.
On the other hand, it is also confirmed that all the cleaning staff working at the residence is negative for COVID-19.
Therefore, only two cases have been detected:
- Two members of the staff, who belong to the same focus and from the first moment have been isolated following the security protocol.
- No resident is infected.
