May 10 from 2021 - 12: 44

The COVID-19 vaccination teams of the Conselleria de Sanidad Universal y Salud Pública will administer 218.199 doses of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines this week.

Specifically, 170.007 doses of Pfizer's vaccine and 48.192 doses of Moderna's vaccine have been distributed to the Health departments.

Pfizer doses are intended primarily to vaccinate more than 101.000 people between the ages of 66 and 69, that is, people born between 1955 and 1951. The rest of the doses are intended for second doses to people with conditions of high risk and other groups prioritized in the strategy.

As for the 48.192 doses of Moderna's vaccine, most of them (more than 45.500) are intended for people between the ages of 66 and 69 years. The rest of the doses will be used to vaccinate health personnel who received the first dose between April 12 and 18, as well as health personnel from private centers. In addition, people with high-risk conditions will be vaccinated.

The 69-66-year-old group will receive the Pfizer and Moderna doses in the Valencian Community with the aim of completing their vaccination in the shortest time possible, since the second dose is administered three weeks after the first in the case of Pfizer and four weeks in the case of modern.

Finally, this week the Valencian Community receives 235.870 doses of vaccines against COVID-19. Specifically, there are 188.370 doses of Pfizer, 32.800 doses of Moderna and 14.700 of Janssen.
